Our Aims and History
Our Aims
  • The advancement of Hindu religion and cultural tradition with particular reference to Bardai Brahmins.  
     
  • The advancement of education in Hindu religion, culture and traditions.

  • To provide facilities for recreational or other leisure time occupation in the interest of social welfare for the members of the local community and in particular the Samaj who are in need of such facilities by reason of their social and economic circumstances, youth, age, infirmity or disablement.


Our History

Our Samaj is serving Bardai Brahmins since 1981. Over the years its management committee has organised and celebrated many functions and provided an environment where people of all generations feel as ease. Navratri and Sharad Purnima are special functions where Samaj’s music group - Jai Bardai Melodies performs. Similarly, our Samaj has a Satsang Mandal and Samaj’s Youth Group.


The aims of our website are to:

  • Document the Hindu traditions and festivals especially those special to Bardai Brahmins.
  • Document the history of our Samaj.
  • Document the history of Bardai Brahmins.
  • Be informative and communicate on the working of our Samaj.
  • Provide an information portal to our members.

We hope that over the time this website will be developed to enable it to act as a forum for constructive and progressive discussion
