It is with extreme delight that Bardai Brahmin Samaj Leicester (UK) would like to inform you that Shree Hindu Temple (Mandir), St. Barnabas Road, Leicester has confirmed our request to have Trikamji Bapu’s Murti placed at the Mandir.
The Mandir has undergone renovation earlier last year (2014) and many Murtis were removed which will now be reinstated and we have been offered one of the three spaces available. We are grateful to Mr. Bhikubhai Kotecha (Mandir President) and the Mandir Committee for approving the Samaj’s request.
We would like to give all members of the Samaj and Bardai Brahmins an opportunity to be part of this unique event. We request your attendance at the Murti Pratishtha Mohatsav taking place over 3 days from Friday, 30th January 2015 to Sunday, 1st February 2015 between 08:30am to 18:00pm each day with afternoon and evening farhaar at the Mandir.
Please see the invitation below. Although the event is over 3 days involving Vedic ceremonies and prayers, the Murti will be placed at 10.10am on Sunday morning. The invitation is for the full 3 days.
This is a unique milestone event for us since Sant Trikamji Bapu’s Murti will be formally placed for worship outside of India.
We are pleased to announce that Dr Pravinchandra and Vanitaben Bhogaita & Diwaliben Ramjibhai Bhogaita and family have pledged to cover the cost of making Bapu’s murti in Rajasthan, India, and packing and transportation costs to the UK. This will be approximately £1500. We are extremely grateful to the Bhogaita family for their generosity.
We look forward to seeing you all at this unique and auspicious event.
