We have received the following sad news:
Ashokkumar Naranji Jiva Modha
30th June 1959 – 13th January 2022
Age: 62
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Ashok Modha. Originally from Kenya, he moved to the UK in 1968 and resided in Leicester.
He leaves behind a loving wife, Hansa Modha, two twin daughters, Sona Rai and Rupa Modha-Gopiani, son-in-laws Ama Singh Rai and Kritesh Gopiani, and four grandchildren Kaish, Nevaeh, Milliana and Cyra.
Our Dad will be remembered for his humble personality and care for others. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please do not feel obliged to visit the family. The family understands that not all friends and relatives will be able to convey condolences in person. Anybody testing positive for Covid-19 should not attend the family’s residence, and Government guidance on distancing should be followed.
