Vrajlal Damodar Bhogaita

It is with profound sadness and sorrow that we share the news that our beloved father, Vrajlal Damodar Bhogaita, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday 17th March at his home in Leicester, in the presence of his family.
He was born in Sodhana, India, to the late Damodar Jerambhai Bhogaita and the late Motibai Damodar Bhogaita.
His life spanned across three continents. Having been brought up in India (Roziwada), he first left for Kenya in 1954 where along with his father he established a working life in Miwani. He left for Leicester in the UK in 1972 and spent the final 54 years of his life in the UK, between Leicester and London.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Mangalagauri, with whom he celebrated 60 years of marriage in February. He was a loving father to his three children Ashmita, Hitesh and Bhavika, father-in-law to Suresh and Anjana. He was the proud grandfather of Rishi, Chandni, Anjali, Miraj, Rhea, Shreya, Esha,and Maya.
He was a guiding presence to his two brothers, Prabhashanker and Shivshanker and their families, each of whom cherished the time they spent with their beloved Motabhai, Motabapu and Motadada.
He had great pleasure in witnessing his family grow and will be remembered most fondly, in particular for his great humour, calm demeanour, and his unyielding optimism which shone brightly in our lives.

We pray that his soul finds eternal peace.
