This year we have chosen the scenic Rutland Water Park for our summer get together and picnic. Set in 4200 acres of open countryside, Rutland Water Park is the central rural attraction in England’s smallest county of Rutland and offers activities for all the family. There are plenty of picnic tables around the key sites for a relaxing summer’s picnic. For the energetic ones there is a 17 mile circular cycle route – either bring your own cycle or use the cycle hire facilities. Or you could simply enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shore of the lake.

Meet at 11am outside the refreshment kiosk (just a short walk from the Normanton car park).
